We are building Community

We are looking to bring in residents who are ready to live a lifestyle in relationship with this land, mystery, and each other.

THE DREAM: We are blowing the conch for folks that want to usher in the great turning! Looking for rock stars who want to expand their skillset in community and support others in their learning.

We want to make as much music as we can, while we live in a rhythm of tending place, each other and ourselves.

We make life of ceremony tending to this near death experience. A Poetic life of prayer. A band and choir of praise. We are fire tenders creating a Sangha of mentors, water catchers, making offerings at the Spring. We are card pullers, star gazers, and readers of Sufi ecstasy, the plants, and our forest friends in whispers and rememberings before we all agreed on english. We look to the elders and deep with in for guidance in this Great Mystery.

THE REALITY: We are a small group tending to the work of a village: 13,000 sq feet of irrigated gardens, 30+ acres of forest, a few animals and a budding space for community. We are off grid, working with solar and gravity fed water sytems. Those of us who live here have our own modest spaces and we share the community infrastructure . (kitchen, bathhouse, sauna, community center). There are a few more structures for people to live in their own private space… which leads to the vision!

THE VISION: We imagine up to a total of 12 of us, with the intention of there always being some of us tending to life off the land. Keeping the load spread out between us in such away that we have plenty of time for self care, music making, and money making. The goal being to have such a solid relationship with the land that we don’t need to go out unless we want to. This means growing food, medicine, and building materials from the land, shrinking our umbilical cord to the corporate material world

2027:

With the right team formed we imagine building more housing in both communal and workshop styles; Tending to abundant gardens and weaving seasonal rhythms of land based ritual and ceremonies into our ways. We want to set the stage for workshops, retreats and longer immersions of people ready to make big lifestyle changes in 2028. we imagine residence being leaders helping to usher in THE GREAT TURNING.
