A Weekend of Music

In this weekend, in the open arms of the forest spirits and guides of the seven directions we will lean in to a fusion of tradition spawn of the Africas to connect the realms through rhythm and melody and voice.

This weekend is for you if you have a particular interest in music as a vehicle for collective trance states. We will be co-creating musical containers orchestrated by Chris and friends to blend traditional rhythms with what we gather from other realms. We are exited to weave in the traditions and the living expression you carry.

This is not a class or a workshop although there will be learning. We ask that if you feel called to participate that you fill in the interest form and then we will send you a link for your payment.

What instrument will you bring?

The Invite

We invite you to participate in this small gathering if you have been practicing your instrument(s) and/or tradition(s) on your own long enough to build on simplicity and the intricacy of silence.  If you feel called to participate through space holding for the musicians there is very limited invite.  During the day and early evening we will enjoy sessions of full volume play and later evening into the wee hours if the calling is there we will continue to share the vibe around the fire and temple spaces.

Leaning on the offerings of those that have shared their ways with us we will branch out by trusting in the magic of the moments together.

What is Included:

  • all organic meals

  • camping

  • outdoor fire

  • space for self guided or led movement practice in the mornings

  • a candle lantern lit musical procession into the forrest and the watering of the seed of inspiration in each of our hearts. 

  • If weather and  spirit aligns we will offer a gentle sweat lodge on Friday night to make room for what wants to come through for the remainder of the gathering.
